Have you ever wanted a computer that costs as much as a car? Well, you’re in luck. UK PC retailer Overclockers UK has just put their most expensive PC ever up for sale. The price? A steep $30,000.
The OrionX is one of the beefiest computers ever to hit the market. It boasts five separate SSD’s that add up to just over 4.2 TB PLUS two 10 TB Seagate Barracuda hard drives- that’s 24.2 TB of storage. Couple that with the memory – 64 GB of Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM – and you have a stupidly fast heavy-duty computer.
The real kicker, though, are the graphics cards. No gaming computer is complete without a graphics card, and the boys at Overclockers UK didn’t hold back in this department either. The OrionX has not one, not two, not three, but FOUR Nvidia Titan X Pascal graphics cards spread out over the primary (3) and secondary (1) systems. For those of you who don’t know, the new Titan X Pascal is the most powerful commercial graphics card on the market- it provides 12 GB of video RAM per card and is blisteringly fast. In fact, it’s so good that Nvidia has restricted the sales of it; only two cards per customer maximum. The OrionX has double that. The computer is also running two top-tier Intel Core i7 processors on the ASUS X99 Rampage V Extreme Edition 10 motherboard.
And did I mention the cooling system? It has 3 separate water-cooling loops keeping the system at optimal temperatures.
The OrionX comes in a custom “8PACK” edition chassis, named after the creator of this beast, Ian “8pack” Perry.
The OrionX is easily the most amazing computer currently on the market.
